The Agora Awards

THESSALONIKIAGORA / MARKET, the industry activity of the Thessaloniki International FilmFestival headed by Marie-Pierre Macia, is pleased to announce its awards.

 

I. The jury of the 7th CrossroadsCo-production Forum, consisting of Roberto Olla, (Eurimages –Executive Director, ), Guillaume De Seille, (Arizona Films–Producer, ), Yorgos Tsourgiannis, (Horsefly Production – producer,Greece)grants the 2|35 co-production award  (full post productionimage and sound) to the project:

 

VIRUS, Directed by: Angelos Frantzis, Produced by: MariaTsigka, Argonauts Production, Greece

 

The producer of the winning project will also begranted a free accreditation for the PRODUCER’S NETWORK, Cannes FilmFestival 2012 session.

 

II. The jury also grants the French CNC (CENTRE NATIONAL DU CINEMA ET DE L’IMAGE ANIMÉE) Development awardof 7.000 euro to the project:

III. The Frenchdevelopment and consulting company INITIATIVE FILM headedby Isabelle Fauvel offersits services to the film project: VIRUS, Directed by: Angelos Frantzis,Produced by: Maria Tsigka, Argonauts Production, Greeceand will follow its development for the next 6months.

 

IV. SOFIA MEETINGS of the Sofiainternational Film Festival selects the project THE COUCH, Directed by: Duccio Chiarini, Produced by: Fabrizio Mosca, AcabaProduzioni, Italy to be presented inMarch 2012.

 

V.  SCRIPT2 FILM WORKSHOPS of the MediterraneanFilm Institute (MFI) awards a scholarship to the film project HOLE IN THE WALL, Director: Hadar Morag, Producer: Elie Meirovitz,EZ Films, Israel /

 

VI. GRAAL S.A & KODAKCINELABS GREECE awards for the second yearone of the Works in Progress films presented in Thessaloniki Agora / Marketduring the 52nd Thessaloniki Intl Film Festival with in kindservices and material in image post-production.
